Abdumalik is the founder and CEO of Powerrry, a vertically-integrated provider of data processing & high-performance computing solutions.
Over the course of his career he has developed a strong track record in building and maintaining key customer and investor relationships in Europe, China, Russia & CIS, the Middle East and North Africa. His vision, experience, and skills help develop Powerry as a leading international player in the data processing market.
In 2016, Abdumalik founded ATK Holdings. ATK Holdings is a leading trader of mineral resources which conducts trading operations with a wide range of metals and minerals.
From 2010 to 2015, Abdumalik served as Vice President of Sales at ENRC Marketing AG, and later as CEO at ENRC Marketing AG and ENRC Logistics. During the same period, he was on the Executive Committee of ENRC PLC’s head office in London. Thanks to his work, the company became a leader in the post-Soviet space in the production of mineral resources: iron ore, coal, ferroalloys, and non-ferrous metals. The company’s global turnover grew to USD 7 bn.
From 2004 to 2010, he was the head of ENRC China, and before that he was responsible for the supply of ferroalloys to the European and Mediterranean markets at Alloy, a Swiss distributor of ferroalloys produced by ENRC. At Alloy, Abdumalik was the first to start selling ferroalloys from Kazakhstan to China.
Abdumalik graduated from the University of Essex in Britain with a degree in Economics; he speaks Russian, English, Uzbek, and Chinese. He is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Kzhol charity foundation engaged in rehabilitating children with neuroorthopedic diseases from low-income families and infant orphanages. Since 2011, more than a thousand children with cerebral palsy have undergone comprehensive rehabilitation with the help of the foundation.
